Annette is a restaurateur who was injured in a fall while in her restaurant; she sustained both a concussion and trigeminal nerve damage.  Since her accident she had suffered excruciating pain for a period of 6+ months.  This pain, as she explains it, would shoot across her cheek, through her nose, through her eye socket and then she said that it felt as if it would explode into her head, sometimes as often as twenty times a day.
