I had a painful back for 6 years​, ever since I hurt it in the log mill.  Since then I have not been able to work because of the pain.  I ate enough pills to stock a pharmacy, but nothing worked to get rid of the terrible pain.  I even tried a TENS unit, but that did nothing for me.  A trip to the chiropractor made me feel a little better for a day or so, but then the pain would come back with a vengeance.  My boy friend was taking me to the hospital twice a month, and the car trip often caused me to cry, it was hurting so much just to ride in the car.  The hospital was not doing anything for me, and since nothing was helping me for so long, I was thinking of killing myself on many occasions.
